• $10 million in funding to develop Jazzland/Six Flags Theme Park.

• $10.5 million in funding to bring the National Finance Center to New Orleans.

• $5 million to purchase land/buildings for the New Orleans Regional Business Park.

• $6 million to triple the size of the campus at Southern University at New Orleans.

• Opened a Levee Board police substation in Senate District 3.

• Millions of dollars to resurface Chef Highway.

• Improved infrastructure on Interstate-10 

• Worked to secure funding to construct I-510 for Orleans and St. Bernard Parishes. 

• Landscaped with shrubbery at Bullard, Read, and Crowder Blvd.

• Developed a Minority Assistance Bonding Program.

• Brought state funding to the New Orleans East Economic Development Foundation.

• Funded the New Orleans East Visitors Center.

• $3.5 million to construct a community Center in Senate District 3.

• Passed legislation to help revitalize the Lake Forest Plaza Mall and Methodist Hospital.

• Over $11 million secured to revitalize Lincoln Beach.

• Funded pre-school, after-school tutorial, retail training, and senior citizen programs.

• Passed Legislation to create the Louisiana Human Rights Commission.

• Passed legislation to create The Small Business Development Center at SUNO.

• Millions of dollars secured in state funds to build Joe Brown Swimming Pool.

• $1.5 Million for Lower Ninth Ward Preschool Program.

• $2.5 Million for Lower Ninth Ward Group Homes and Juvenile Counseling Center.

• Constructed several new family homes at Dubreuil St. in The Lower Ninth Ward.​
