Hi, I'm Jon Johnson
LEADERSHIP WITH RESULTS
Jon Johnson has the proven leadership and experience to get the job done. As State Senator, he authored the $215 million legislative package that renovated the Superdome, constructed the Saints Training facility, built the New Orleans Arena, and the Zephyr Ballpark – keeping the Saints in New Orleans and bringing the NBA and professional baseball to our city. He secured the State funding that made Jazzland/Six Flags Theme Park and the Joe Brown Swimming Pool a reality and brought more than $185 million in improvements to District 3.
A CAREER IN SERVICE
Jon was recognized as Legislator of the Year by the Alliance for Good Government, the Louisiana Association of Educators, Victims and Citizens Against Crime, and the Louisiana Municipal Association. With a record of success in the Louisiana Legislature, Jon was elected to Council District E in 2010. He is currently serving on the New Orleans City Planning Commission. Jon Johnson owned and operated a business of major franchises that employed several hundred people. He will bring back business and create jobs to give our children the future they deserve.
